The Occupy Write In 2016 Campaign is an attempt to jam the election without derailing it. Instead we intend to subvert the civic meaning of a vote, how it is cast, and who does the counting.
The meaning is subverted by branding these Wasted and Recycled Votes. Recycled Votes are cast in writing using social media derived short-hand. The Occupy Write In Votes are counted with pictures and posts.
If we can get enough voters to Recycle the Wasted Votes on their ballots using a few phrases, hastags, and/or alternate candidates to Occupy Write In, we can make a few waves and rock the boat.
